India has made huge progress in bringing children to school. But after class X, there is huge dropout, particularly, in case of girls. They are not learning the foundational skills that can help them in an increasingly difficult world.
I’m brimming with excitement to share with you that this year I will be a part of the RUN to support class XI education of 8 girls from economically poor families, under Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme of Udayan Care.
Udayan Care has been a part of Airtel Delhi Half Marathon since its inception and it’s one of the biggest fundraising events for us.
This year, I have committed to raising funds for Udayan Care and I need your support to reach this goal! This money will go towards our "Joy of Education" campaign and ensure that ambitious young girls, who may never complete school, get a chance to complete their higher education - an education their families could not afford. Please help.
There will be matching amount from my family for whatever you give. I would appreciate anything you could contribute towards helping making these young GIRLS’s dreams come true...
Udayan Care exists to transform the lives of children and youth from underserved sections of society, through meaningful interventions for development at every step of their journey
