Work and Achievements

We bring you the story of Kalappa hails from a village in Koppal, who used to be a farmer in one of the fields. On a hot summer day, Kalappa was heading from his farm with cottons in his tractor. One minute, he was enjoying the breeze and weather in afternoon on the highway. The next thing he can recall is lying on the bed in a hospital in Hubli. He still remembers that he could see arms and legs but were unable to feel or move anywhere. During his course of treatment in SpinalCord Rehabilitation center, He was told that he would walk again. He was asked to spend  the next 15-16 weeks in physiotherapy and livelihood trainings. During the TCS 10K run 2016, GiftAbled donated the fund raised to SpinalCord Rehabilitation Center in rural Koppal, which works for physiotherapy of spinal injury patients and vocational training. This year, GiftAbled with your support and encouragement is looking forward to create more impact stories and transform hundreds of lives in rural places of Karnataka.

Last TCS 10k run, with the donated amount GiftAbled helped SpinalCord Rehabilitation Center on accessibility and vocational training center.
GiftAbled with the support from you, aim to create more such stories and transform hundreds of lives in rural places of Karnataka. We are looking forward to create more such stories this year
