Work and Achievements
Need Base India is an organization set-up in the year 2009, to help the children found in difficult home situation or children living on the streets. These children are facing the challenges of getting care, protection, and education. There are more than 20,000 children in the state of Karnataka, who are in a vulnerable situation. Hence to address these issues, Need Base India is running a Rainbow Home in collaboration with Sarva Shikshana Abiyana and Govt. Schools at Bangalore. The Rainbow Home provides a safe environment exclusively for the vulnerable and street girls. We running this Home, in the Govt. School premises of Jala Halli Village, Bangalore and currently 100 girls are staying and continuing education. We have admitted the cases like orphan, semi orphan, both parents addicted to alcohol, girls on the street etc, but all the cases are from very extreme difficult home situation background.
Similarly, there are Residential Home set-up for the boys also. We are running a Lakshya Udaan Home in the Govt. School, Lal Bagh Siddhapura, Bangalore. This home supports 30 boys. Another Home is known as Sneh Ghar established in the Govt. School, Shanthinagar and there are 50 boys. The one more Home newly started is situated in Panathur, Kadubeesanahalli, Marathalli, Banglaore. This home supports 30 boys.
