Work and Achievements
Kost– KCT foundation was registered in 2011 with the purpose to broaden the horizon of spinal surgery , rehabilitation and social development of the children suffering with Scoliosis deformity and various physical disabilities. Our chairman Dr. Shankar Acharya is carrying out all the activities since 2011 without any Government financial help. Main aim of KOST-KCT is to provide advanced surgery & rehab facility to all children affected with various spine problems and physical disabilities and also to create an awareness in public about recent advancement in treatment of various congenital spine & orthopaedic disabilities. KOST-KCT is an organization with the aim to provide all kind of medical, surgical and rehabilitation facilities to such children irrespective of their socio-economic status. The Trust has been very successful in achieving the goals since its registration. Currently, it is planned to expand the horizon of the foundation by creating more lodging facilities and advanced rehab centre.
The basic objective of the Trust is creating awareness about all aspects of health for people from all walks of life incorporating all pathies incorporating low cost infotainment modules under one roof. The primary function of Kost-KCT is to effectively promote, support, develop and encourage research and education concerning orthopaedic care, spine care and advancements in scoliosis & musculoskeletal diseases.
Our main focus is to provide exclusive service in the sub-specialties of Sports Medicine, Spinal Surgeries, Orthopaedic surgeries Paediatric spine deformity, Scoliosis Surgery, Deformity Correction, etc.We take special care of the scoliosis affected patients by giving education, physical medicine modalities and surgical treatment when necessary.
Fund Utilisation Statement
The fund will be utilized for “screening, treating and operating on musculoskeletal deformity in children who can’t afford it.
