National Thalassemia Welfare Society
To make optimum treatment within the reach of every Thalassemics in India and to control the birth of Thalassemia Major by 2025.
Work and Achievements
We have planned to utilize the funds for the cost of operation for the 5 to 10 pending cases of BMT. As we know it is exceptionally difficult for a family to bear the cost of Bone marrow Transplant, so we wish not even a single patient should be deprived of the permanent cure due to financial constraint. The Cost of Operation is around 10 to 15 Lacs. The expenses may vary with the age and complications post BMT. We will also utilize in distributing free medicines to the under privilege thalassemics.
