Work and Achievements

Sunrise Learning Foundation is a not-for profit organization that is dedicated towards providing empowerment, mployment, education, vocational training for independence and inclusion for specially-abled persons.

So far, Sunrise Learning Foundation has supported more than 2000 differently- abled persons through several awareness and empowerment initiatives.

Centre for Autism & Special Needs at Noida, houses 40 differently-abled students, in the age groups of 3 to 30 years, in various programs (from Early Intervention to Pre-vocational to Vocational Training Courses). A team of specialized coaches, special educators and caregivers provides the requisite trainings to the students.

Each year, 5-6 students pass out in a grand Graduation ceremony to join mainstream schools. The students run a Sunrise Shoppe, a Cafeteria, a sheltered workshop for making glass candles, jewellery, pursuing Basic and Advanced Computer Training courses and academics through National Institute of Open Schooling. They get daily sports activities (including roller skating, swimming, basketball, table tennis and gym). Around 25 specially-abled persons have found employment, through and at Sunrise Learning.

Around 2000 children have participated in our Annual Sports Meets.

Around 1200 parents have been trained through Parent Empowerment programs. Mothers come with their children from Gauhati, Ajmer, Patna and Gorakhpur, and nearby places, to attend the training programs. This year 6 fathers graduated from Empowerment Programs.

April 2019 Autism Awareness Campaign was huge, and was run in several cities of India, and even in Dubai. Sunrise Learning completely supports the education of 30 children (called Joy Students) with / without special needs who belong to under-privileged or broken families, with single parents.
