Responsenet Development Services
To create the freedom for the most vulnerable children to aspire as far as their dreams can take them for a better future.
Work and Achievements
Started in 2011, Our Food for Education initiative touches the lives of over 17,000 children in schools across the age group of 6-14 years in India every day.
This is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2 to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition. We work to end hunger and work to ensure all vulnerable children have access safe, nutritious and sufficient food every day with education. We work to end all forms of malnutrition to reduce stunting and wasting of children.
Through the years, we have fed over 20 million meals to over 17,000 children in need, starting from one feeding center in Delhi to over 70 centers across 12 States in India. These centers are mainly non-formal educational setups where we connect freshly cooked meals to children every day with the objective of bettering their health, education and safety. Our work revolves around achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Zero Hunger that can positively impact our present and future generations.
Responsenet along with over 230 private sector partners and 70,000 volunteers engaged are significantly improving the nutrition and literacy levels of poor vulnerable children in rural and urban communities across India. Our holistic approach helps create the opportunity for children to learn, play and thrive who would otherwise be deprived and to create the freedom for the most vulnerable children to aspire as far as their dreams can take them for a better future
