Work and Achievements
Through our efforts in 2017-18 we extended financial and non-financial support to over 340 NGOs in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
Our initiatives have helped bring about a direct positive change in the lives of children, youth, women, the mentally and physically challenged and the aged from marginalised sections of society.
Our work has helped prevent child labour and child marriages, created permanent solutions for water supply, improved quality of life, increased income, encouraged sustainable use of renewable energy and increased employability among women. Nearly 1,50,000 marginalized people benefited through our programmes.
Our support to:
- Educational initiatives impacted 25,288 children and 1215 youth
- Grassroot level work in the area of health and hygiene improved the lives of 41,084 people
- Community development activities have directly benefited 56,672 individuals through natural resource management, empowerment of women, livelihood projects, organic farming, rainwater harvesting, self-help groups, shelter homes, etc.
